Investigation Reflection
We were able to investigate the different types of advertising methods and a product demanded by the consumers. I also added new features that are very helpful and would improve the performance of the product.
Evaluation
I think me and my partner did a good job and designed a successful water product.I did not have any issues with my partner. We also met all the deadlines. I learned many ways of advertising and the different ways of it.
The only thing I would like to improve is my skills of photoshop and make my product more attractive.
The area of interaction we cover are-
Environment- As our product does not cause pollution. and is biodegradable.
Human ingenuity- We covered this area as we found a product and improved it to make it better.
Community and service- We advertised using a brochure for the community and brought about a new product.Health and Social Education- We understood what people wanted in a good product and based our design on the demand of the consumers.

INVESTIGATION TASK
The different types
of brochures are-
flyers
magazines
sheets
leaflets
laidout, paperback and bound print products.
Some examples of magazines used by water sport businesses are boards, tides etc. They are mainly used for advertising their product and their brand.
Business that use this way of advertising-
hospitals
restaurants
laundries
car brands
rental companies

The design of sports
gear in a magazine looks very eye catching and sometimes don't contain the important information which can be miss leading and confusing ie if an advert says that if you invest in this program it will have these returns but next to it in small font it says that terms and conditions apply.
In most of the sources I found out that there are slogans used for products like where these shoes and run at double your speed. Celebrities were also used to advertise as their fans would prefer buying products that their favorite celebrities wear. They always show good points of the product and not the bad points as it would not help in selling it.

According to me the
layout of the brochure should be somewhat like this-
Slogan- a catchy sentence that would attract people and would force them to read on.
Company LOGO- This also advertises the company so that
many picture- a picture of the product and the celebrity
wearing it.
Details- positives and features and not the negative ones. Also all the materials used to make the product.
Price- all of that only for ……….and offers and other pramotions
Contact details- address of shop, phone number
etc.
The 2 sport gears are-
Goggles-
Surfboars-
Goggles- consumers might
prefer goggles much more clear as in much more clear to see through underwater
and would also prefer them to be more light and small. My idea is that goggles could be having cameras that would click when the button is
pressed. They would also have lights to take pictures of dark places. This would prevent people from buying underwater cameras. They would also have an antena that would sent a message to the your family if you are in danger is would be possible by a press of a button.
Surfboards- consumer would want the surfboards
to be very strong as the sometimes tend to break when hit badly by a big wave.
They would also like it to have more of a curve from the forward which would
allow it to cut through the water faster. If they are looking for something new
surfboards could be having motors which would allow it to travel through water
like a jet ski but giving the impression of a surfer.
I thing the goggles
would be a better choice as it would amuse most of the people as they can take pictures
underwater using their goggles. It would also be really good for scuba diving
and other water sports.

Youtube
YouTube is a video-shairing website, created by three former paypal employees in February 2005, on which users can upload, view and share videos. The company is based in San Bruno, California, and uses Adobe Flash Video and HTML 5 technology to display a wide variety of user-generated video content, including movie clips, TV clips, and music videos, as well as amateur content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos. I chose this technology as I think its the worlds most famous site for browsing any kind of video.
